The smell inside the building and room was horrible, the outside of the building is in need of repairs, broken window covered with plywood, large areas of trim were missing, and building is in need of renovation. Best things were the convenient ice machine and washer & dryer worked!

Tired and hot

The room was hot and it took 4 hours to cool down. By the time it cooled i was asleep and awoke freezing. The air conditioner made loud sucking noises all night that made sleeping difficult. Parking was okay and breakfast was good. The room was too small for the 2 beds and i kicked the air conditioner everytime I got out of bed as it sat below the window.

Scary situation

The bed was comfortable and the room was, ok. Only concern was that i got an a joining room. My door to the other room did not lock and the people in the room next to me were able to come in. Thank goodness my brother got that room.

The check-in was quick. The waffles in the morning were excellent. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The location is conveniently located near HEB, gas station, mall, Walmart, shopping strip, movie theater and restaurants.

Room was humid and mildew smelling. No wifi the first day or night. I had to ask for the WiFi password on 2nd day and to have the pool opened since it was locked and not accessible for customers use

This hotel is currently undergoing upkeep and renovations. They are booking out rooms that have not been maintained properly, knowing things like the air conditioner leaks and will flood the room. Their solution and explanation is there should have been a garbage can under it to catch the leak they knew about when they rented the room and that a staff member must have removed this leak bucket during cleaning. They did not apologize nor provide a refund nor a different room. They also charge extra for a smoking room during booking and didn't refund the difference for that either after putting us in a freshly painted room they said was now non-smoking. They did they compensate us for everything getting wet and even though I had room insurance they denied a claim because the hotel was kept open by management and not shut down for the above reasons. The hotel did not even give us laundry service for our wet clothes and I had to get quarters from their desk to pay for the machine (there is also only 1 machine for all guests in the entire hotel).
