Lakefront Winter Getaway – Fireside Nights

This cozy lakefront getaway on Meadow Lake is the perfect place to make lasting memories with family and friends. Meadow Lake is part of a 5-lake chain, so there's plenty to explore right from the dock:



- Kelly and Killarney Lakes (east): quiet water for kayaks, canoes, and small boats.

- Allen and Wolf Lakes (west): room for larger boats. Allen Lake has a DNR public access site if you're trailering your own boat.



Swimming from the dock is an option, though the shoreline can be a bit weedy at times, as is common on natural lakes. For a more classic lake experience, two sandy sandbars are a short paddle away. Spend your days exploring with the rowboat, four kayaks, paddle boat, and canoe we provide, or bring your own boat or rent one nearby.



Pets welcome: $10 per pet per night, up to 2 pets. Need room for more? Just ask.

If you use the dishwasher, please run it early enough to unload before you leave.

What a fantastic stay! It’s close to everything but secluded enough to relax and unwind. The hosts were great. Communication was excellent. We enjoyed dinner on the deck and relaxing while overlooking the water afterwards. If you’re looking for some R&R, this place won’t disappoint!

We had a great time. The owners were very attentive and friendly. Our family enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the lakes and channels nearby, as well as using the fishing gear that was all supplied at the house. Quiet and peaceful area, the lake is very private so we could float around casually and go to the sand bar.

Stayed with some friends for a couple nights. Launched a boat in the lake and kept it docked all weekend. Kitchen was fully stocked including appliances (air fryer, toaster, toaster oven). Plenty of parking out front. Very clear instructions and quick communication. Only 5 minutes from MIS. 10 minutes from downtown Brooklyn. Perfect stay!
