I was very disappointed with my recent stay. As someone who works in lodging, I expect transparency about major disruptions, and this property fell far short. We were not informed that the hotel was under renovation, and our confirmation even showed a photo of the pool—yet both the pool and fitness center were completely closed. These were clearly scheduled renovations and should have been disclosed at booking and in confirmation materials. Although we received a newly painted room, there was a strong underlying smell of an older smoking environment or carpet off gassing. Fresh paint can’t hide deep, embedded odors, and my whole family left feeling stuffy after less than 20 hours in the room. This raises concerns about air quality and proper remediation. Service was also inconsistent. While a couple of staff members were pleasant, others were curt and unwelcoming. When amenities are unavailable, good customer service becomes even more important, and that wasn’t the case here. Overall, the lack of disclosure about construction, the closed amenities, the lingering smoke smell in a supposedly non‑smoking room, and the uneven service made for a very disappointing stay. Guests deserve honesty, transparency, and a clean, healthy environment—none of which were provided.

The place is going through a branding change and renovation. There ae no signs telling you the name of the hotel because they removed the old signs and did not install the new signs. You have to walk in and find the place which is in the back. The GPS tells you are at the location but you need to take a left turn up a hill to find the place with no signs. It's quite bizarre.
