Lovely room for a relaxing stay in the New Forest. The food (dinner and breakfast) was standard hotel food—not bad but not great. The dinner was presented in a gourmet style but of average quality.

There are old reviews on YouTube that show the hotel before the new owners took over, and the refurbishment that has clearly improved the quality of the hotel. They do not represent this hotel and how good it is today. The owners could probably do with inviting some travel vloggers and getting some more exposure.

A lovely hotel and very accommodating. They were happy to store my bike for me overnight and looked after my bag before and after check in. A great selection on the tea tray and a lovely touch with the radio in the room playing classical music when I arrived. It was a relaxing stay

Lovely stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained throughout our visit. The back lawn/outdoor area was absolutely lovely and very relaxing, with a great atmosphere. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful despite it being an extremely busy bank holiday weekend. The food was really good throughout our stay and the bar area was a great place to unwind in the evening. Would certainly return.
