Lovely Accommodation and Great Location

This is a lovely accommodation with plenty of space and a well-equipped kitchen. The location is great, just minutes from the beach and from a variety of restaurants, shops and cafes. All in all there's much to recommend the Old Boathouse.

We liked the location of the Old Boathouse, it was less than 20 minutes walk from the station and 2 minutes from the beach. The beds were comfy and the showers great. The spacious living/kitchen area was great. The only downside was that the chocolates in the machine were not real!

Four wonderful days

We stayed for three night with our son & his family 2 children 8&4 The apartment was very comfortable as were the beds - we were extremely lucky with the weather and spent time on the beach (Stone Bay) everyday - the location is perfect for both beaches the town - we did not use the car at all

Old Boathouse, Broadstairs

The Old Boathouse provided us with the perfect base from which to explore Broadstairs . We were lucky enough to have coincided our visit with the fantastic Food Festival which kept us occupied and fed! We also ate at, and can recommend Sardinia (you'll need to pre-book) and paid Morelli's a couple of visits. There were 4 adults staying so we had plenty of room in the house which was bright and clean with a surprise welcome pack on arrival. The only thing that we could have done with was a hairdryer which was mentioned as included on the booking site but that we couldn't find. All in all we had a lovely weekend and would definitely return without hesitation.

4 ladies away for a lovely time by the seaside. Check in was easy, and we loved the rooms. Welcome box with a few necessities (wont post what they were in order to keep the element of surprise for the next person). So close to the beach. Notes on improvements: take a fan if the weather is hot - as there are no fans on the property. Seastay - the parquet floor in the 2 single rooms is lose - and needs repairing. The freezer part of the fridge needs defrosting - as the door doesn't close properly. Small sensor light might be good on the step leading down to the other bedrooms for anyone in the double bedroom by the stairs (it's a step down) - especially at night? Top tips for anyone staying here - book your restaurants in advance or night before if you can as they get VERY busy.
