Arrived to find that the on site parking was £20 and not £10 as promoted on this site. The carpet on the stairs was filthy and we walked 6 flights to discover that the electricity wasn't working. The bed itself had clean sheets and was comfortable but the bathroom door had what looked like blood or faeces on the frame. Would not walk in bare feet in the room because the carpet was filthy. Worryingly none of of the fire doors on the six flights of stairs would close properly. I chose this place because it was near where my daughter's student accommodation is but never again.
A two night stay of horrors! Gross online misrepresentation - nothing like the pictures!. I strongly advise against staying in this hotel. The carpets are so dirty you cannot walk barefoot. The curtains are ripped. Lack of sockets in the room and dirty shower which leaked all over the floor during use. It continued flooding and soaked the carpets after I had left the room. I was moved room after much debate with the male manager who tried to blame me for the flood!I moved room but on return after dinner found the codes (it operates a digital access code system) had been changed and I was locked out! Komal ( manager) was very helpful but if she hadn't been there I would have been a lone female in a very vulnerable position. This is not a hotel for lone female travellers! Rude male staff. Lack of facilities - no sign of any compensation despite numerous texts/emails! Avoid!!
!!DO NOT STAY! Me and boyfriend booked this place for his graduation. First we turned up and NO STAFF were to be seen for hours we tried calling and messaging numbers. Finally someone turned up with no apologies. We had a room on the 5th floor and there is no lift. Our room was DISGUSTING the carpet was gross and stained the room was tiny and like a sauna with one a tiny window and a fan with didn’t work! In our side table we’re CONDOMS absolutely disappointed. After returning back from a lovely dinner (not at the hotel) the POLICE turned up as some non sober men had managed to get the passcode (as they do not provide you with keys) to our neighbouring rooms door and came into there room forcing them out very late at night. After this we knew it was UNSAFE and left for a new hotel. As no staff were around to speak to we haven’t gotten any refund.
We had trouble before check-in as they phoned at 4:30pm to say the twin room was cancelled. After much argument they gave us 2 singles.
The rooms were dirty and smelt damp. Breakfast was non existent.
Would not recommend.
Room was in a poor state. Cracked sink, missing shower door handles, no plug, ripped net curtains, kettle lead too short that boiling the kettle was a hazard. No light in the hallway which was not replaced even after being made aware - another health and safety issue. Overall, we should have gone to Premier inn for the same price.
There was good water and shower pressure
Great location and it could work as a budget hotel but there were NO STAFF literally - you call a number but they dont always answer. Door codes dont work. Very frustrating. I got in but i met two travellers who couldnt access their room.
Dirty carpet. Tired furniture. Noisy bed (creaky). Awful bathroom with cracked sink, flooring coming up, tiny shower cubicle with shower head that flops down

Nobody cleaned my room even once and the basin would always get clogged. Bathing was difficult too.

Booked and paid for one of our drivers to stay at this hotel. When he arrived later that evening he was told that his booking had been cancelled and the hotel was full. So much for a paid in advance confirmed booking. Our sriver had no means to cover the cost of a hotel himself and was left standed in Bristol. Shocking service. Avoid at all costs.
The room was absolutely disgusting, it had a huge hole in the wall with damp. No natural lighting and main lights broken, so a tiny lamp was provided that did nothing.
The room was scorching hot as was in the attic. When i tried to move rooms, the receptionist was unhelpful offering no alternatives. I could not sleep there so had to check out and check into somewhere else on the night, wasting the cost of three nights. Currently waiting for the complaints team to get back to me but that isn't looking promising so far. Avoid at all costs.

A challenging place to stay
The hotel is a tad difficult to get into, so read their instructions clearly. There is no receptionist. There’s a bell on the front door, but don’t ring it because no one will come. The room was fine, but dated. The room we had was in the front, and the only air you get is by opening the window. I mention the front because when you open the window you get the street noise. Breakfast is meh! Finally, the parking! It’s a nightmare. There’s three parking spots for the entire hotel. We drove around trying to find street parking for 30 minutes, then finally gave up and parked in the city center.it was so far away we had to UBER back to the hotel. All in all it was a miss, but it might suit others.
