Very good stay at the Grand Hotel by Sunday. Very clean room with plenty of space. Suited my purpose of a 1 night stay but could have easily have stayed longer. The hotel is well maintained and almost instant hot water. One inconvenience was the checking in process. The member of staff on the desk kept having to go to the back after serving each person. However there was a conference on at the same time. Overall I would stay there again.

The hotel and room was tired - the bedroom windows were broken (I.e the double glazed windows could nite closed because the hinges had broken. Staff not at their desk on two occasions (once when wishing to check out). Not impressed especially for the cost associated with the stay. Also £17 for breakfast seemed too expensive, so we declined.

They need to give 2 stars back, very poor

Supposed to be a 4 star hotel but more like a 2 star... long queue at checkin, 1 lift working. 1 broken so took ages, thinest duvet ive ever encountered, noisiest air con, tv remote wouldn't turn the tv off, sleeve on electric towel rail off so bare electrics exposed, way too high sink, steam damage to mirror, shower head max height would suit someone very short and im only 5ft 11! Way below a 4 star hotel.
