The entrance and lobby area is quite something.
The staff are very friendly and on hand for anything you may require. They also left our son a card and some chocolates for his birthday which was a nice touch.
The rooms are spacious and well decorated but beds seem small, mattresses are soft and comfortable.
The room cleanliness was questionable quite a number of stains on the carpet, windows dirty, the carpet and tiles were not clean and didn’t seem as if the carpet had been hoovered.
The wardrobe smelt like fish and the robes that were left had makeup stains on them along with some “other” stains.
Coffee machine and tea facilities was well stocked along with the mini fridge items.
The hallways and lobby’s really smelt like a particular plant you’d smoke.
For the amount of time we were in the room it was “fine” if we were staying longer than the one night I’d definitely have complained about the room.
For £200 a night I’d expect the finishing touches and cleanliness to be A*.
Probably wouldn’t stay again.
Impressed with the online check in. Was notified via email when my room is ready and self-service on the collection of room keys. Very efficient- seamless!
Cleanliness was average. Would have expected better/cleaner, but wasn’t put off by the condition. Was disturbed by people congregating in the courtyard outside our window during the night.
I used online check-in and the self-service keycard collection, and online check-out, so didn’t interact with any staff at all.
Also didn’t use the restaurant, instead had breakfast at the great crepe place next door, and dinner at other restaurants in the city.
My wife and I had a wonderful two nights stay at this place. The staff were amazing and friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the room was pristinely clean and the bed was super comfortable. Will certainly go back!
Great location for accessing the city centre, everything is easily walkable and the main bus stops are a few minutes walk.
Rooms are a good size, clean, tidy with no noise.
Breakfast is excellent and worth the cost to fill up for the day! Scrambled egg tasted a bit synthetic and we weren’t the only guests saying it and leaving theirs.
