There is a flood in the bathroom every time you take a shower. You need to pay unreasonable amount a day for parking. You need to call every day for towels and shampoo, body wash...etc. There is housekeeping only once every 4 days. You need to carry 2 entry cards, one for the room and one for the parking garage.

Fabulous Stay at the Meriton Herschel Street

On arrival we were given an upgrade to a room on the 70th floor the room was perfect and the view of the city and river was amazing. We only stayed for one night and wish it would have been longer. I would definitely stay again. Joshua at reception dealt with our check out given we were checking out and not in he was so helpful, giving us recommendations for our last few hours in Brisbane. He was a delight, so friendly. Fantastic stay and would not hesitate to recommend.

Nice room. Paying a bit more for a river view is money well spent. Friendly front desk. A few blocks off the hub of the restaurants but an easy walk. Take the ferry along the river for an inexpensive tourist view of the city.

The hotel itself is fine, and if you are going to the train station, extremely convenient. But the area around is a bit run down compared with the rest of the city, with several hostels in the area.

Staff were very friendly and well spoken. Room was fairly clean however the silicone on the bathroom was extremely mouldy and needed replacing. The couch and cushions needed a clean and I think the carpet was due for a clean also.

Reception advised us of our request for 4 single beds, we had requested 2 doubles. Advised that this would involve a delay, and told it was our fault for using outside provider, accepted 4 singles. Advised they would text when room ready, no text received.
