Spacious, open plan, pet friendly home in a quiet waterfront area on beautiful peaceful Karragarra Island.
Karra -Mellow is a holiday house in the old style. Casual, beachy, a little bit quirky and with lots of things to do that you only do on holidays - board games, classic old movies, darts, or trying to ride the tandem bicycle. Lots of places to lounge. Large fenced grassy areas surrounded by bushy gardens where kids and pets can safely run around and explore. With bikes, table tennis and kayaks too, you can do as much or as little a you feel like.
At the eastern end of the island, with a grassy verge to the water, the house is very quiet and private. It is a 30 minute stroll (or 5 minute drive) along the waterfront from the ferry wharf or car barge.
The house has a larged screened verandah overlooking the water and several outdoor areas with BBQ, fire pit, tabletennis table, badminton.
Karragarra Island is a tiny friendly community without even a shop but boasts a white sandy beach, swimming enclosure and beachfront BBQ area. Yet the “high life” of supermarket, pub, golf club, restaurants etc is just a few minutes across the water by free regular passengr ferry at the other Southern Moreton Bay islands (Russell, Lamb and Macleay).
Fish, swim, island hop. And if you like seafood straight from the sea, don’t forget to bring your fishing tackle and crab pots.
