Hotel is renovating in stages. Some rooms are very nice others badly need the renovation (we had multiple people staying, so had access to multiple rooms and floors) Pool area also needs upgrading. Good location and staff were fine
Hotel is generous to upgrade our booking to the 4-bedrooms penthouse apartment. Much appreciated. Staff are most helpful.
Hotel property itself is a historic building, most facilities might need to upgrade, i.e. washing machine!

Broken glass on the balcony,
Ensuite exhaust fan didn't work,
Dirt and grout in the bathroom,

The apartment was not clean. It looked like the apartment just has been renovated. There were still drops of paints on the walls and floors. The floors in the bathrooms and kitchen had a lot of stains and the toilets subs were dirty. The lounges are dirty and the sits at the dining table are dirty and full of stains. There is little amenities. The non stick fry pan has the non stick laminate peeled off some places and not a good pan to be used for frying. No rack for drying up disks and utensils. Very disappointed. The only high light of this apartment is very central, within a walk to everything in CBD district and just about 200m from the Brisbane central station.
Fantastic location and easily walkable to Queen St Mall, supermarket, restaurants and even over to Southbank.
Pool was great, and loved the sauna!
We had a 2 bedroom apartment and it was fantastic. Clean, 2 bathroom, laundry, well equipped kitchen, and had everything that we needed.
Both bedrooms and the loungeroom had sliding doors leading out to the balcony and it was lovely to look at city lights or up towards the hills.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Will very happily stay here again!

We stayed four nights during the week. Check-in was quick, organised and very friendly staff. The room was extremely clean and tidy. There was more than enough room in the whole apartment. Large kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of hanging space in wardrobe. Most convenient to have a full laundry with washer and dryer. Large balcony. The only issue was out of the two elevators only one was in operation our whole stay. Which at times made the wait for the elevator a bit frustrating.
The air conditioning worked well as it was quite humid this time of year.
Easy walking distance to the city. Although the climb back from the city up the hill could be difficult if you had issues with mobility. There was a fair bit of traffic noise but you get that staying in most city accommodation.
There are a few cafes close by. Also a chemist.
