I would have guven an all round 5 star rating apart from the noise factor, unfortunately the walls are a bit thin and the door slamming disturbed my sleep. Hiwever, having said that it won't stop me from staying again. The place is excellent otherwise, great location, great staff, great amenities. Rooms are exceptional for a backpackers. Highly recommend.

Everything from check in to check out, the staff were amazing! Our room was clean, property was clean and guests were also friendly. The rooftop patio and bar were great! The gentleman that served us both nights was pleasant and welcoming. Being in our mid 50’s we weren’t too sure if this accommodation was going to suit us. We are so thrilled that we booked our stay at the YHA!

The room was alright but there was a big window that had a light just outside of it with no curtain over it. I had to cover it with a sheet. Also the en-suite restrooms could use better cleaning. The rooftop bar was closed despite it seemingly being within operating hours.
