Great stay. Fantastic view of the seafront and west pier from my sea-view room, and handy for the city centre. No lifts so climb to the upper floors can be awkward, but worth it.

Our room was stunning and the location is great but the bathroom could use a little refresh with a lick of paint - although it looks like there may be some updates being made elsewhere in the hotel. Overall, a lovely stay.

This was such a bargain! Okay it’s a bit tired and there’s none of the frills of a big hotel, but the room was large and clean, and the bed very comfortable with memory foam pillows. It was fairly quiet and my only gripe was I didn’t get any hot water at 1am… but in the morning there was plenty of hot water and the shower was amazing. There was a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities too. I’d recommend as a bargain destination.

A good choice for a budget accommodation. Nice view and location. The facilities in the room are pretty basic and dated. The plumbing is very noisy due to a pump that filters any drainage water going into the pipes from the toilet, sink and the shower. The shower was attached (high) to the wall. The kettle in my room stopped working by the end of my stay - the button was broken. The late check-in was surprisingly easy. I had to call a number given at the entrance, and the staff opened the doors for me remotely. I never actually met the staff in my 3 days at the place.

4Poster bed, room 5, 3rd floor: full sea view, West Pier, Regency square. No hotel w reception, more like apartment block. Comfy bed. Shower w good water pressure. Small fridge. Decor mixed as if thrown together. Stuff from former guest still in dressing table. Children’s curtains. Laminate floor. No lift, steep narrow stairs, not for people w mobility problems. Staff only on site during check-in. Nice lady helped w carrying bag upstairs. Fire alarm triggered twice during night by inconsiderate guest smoking in room. Staff arrived after 20 min to turn it off and check cause. Very apologetic. Guest was given warning 1st time, 2nd time had to leave. Alarm not linked directly to fire brigade. I advise to check out fire escapes / extinguisher positions upon arrival. I would stay again. Location close to beach, very good restaurants and shops literally just around the corner.

B&B not a hotel

Good location but more B&B than hotel. Good security on doors (not given in Brighton experiences) but (double) room and bed were small. Hot day but window opened onto fire escape so felt unable to leave it open so room became very hot and airless.

Not a hotel to stay at Decor did not match the pictures showing on Hotels.com condition was terrible unclean walls doors windows shelves furniture. No electrical PAT testing which is a legal requirement in hospitality industry

Great location, but that is about it. Room service only came in to empty the trash and replace the tea and coffee sachets. No actual cleaning was done; towels weren’t replaced, bed wasn't done, sheets weren’t replaced etc. There also was no reception and no reply to trying to communicate via expedia/email. Overall it's okay if you just want to sleep there. Bed and bathroom were clean enough.

Nobody answered the phone so went round and nobody answered the door - banged and banged until a guest let us in. Turned out there's no reception, and no management on site. Eventually a cleaner called someone and he checked us in - friendly guy, but what a hassle. Room okay, but long wait for water to get hot. "Old plumbing" they explained - it certainly was.
