Great hotel in the city centre

Really impressed with this hotel. Stayed on a business trip and the hotel room was really comfortable, with extra bits provided i.e., variety of teas and biscuits in the room. The staff were friendly and quick to offer help. Happily stay here again.

Breakfast was chaotic on Saturday morning: had to wait for a table, no fried eggs, no sugar at the table, no butter, not enough staff. Went elsewhere on Sunday. The safe in the room did not work.

Maldron Hotel is a star arrival in Brighton

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel which is just a year old. The buffet-style breakfast had everything you could possibly want, with fresh food being added right until the end of the breakfast sitting, which ended at 11am. I found this hotel a perfect base for exploring Brighton City Centre and is also within a reasonable walking distance of Hove, where I enjoyed watching some cricket at Sussex County Cricket Club. Waling along the seafront is great fun not just for the fresh sea air but also for checking out a range of tourist attarctions such as the 'upside down house'.
Picturesque Sussex County Cricket Club in Hove is a leisurely 30 minute walk from Maldron Hotel.
Brighton Sea Front is great fun to explore for a range of tourist attractions, craft shops and a choice of several places to have a drink and a bite to eat.

Everything is spotless and shiny in the very new Maldron Hotel, a very welcome arrival in the centre of Brighton.

Helpful staff and great with getting the side door open for us to use the ramp with the buggy. Travel cot set up in room and clean modern rooms. Surrounding area of hotel a bit rundown but the hotel itself was nice. Car alarm going off in nearby car park was noisy at night.

The toilet flush did not work properly. I could hear the TV in the next room until midnight when I assume they turned it off. Unsure whether the water bottles were complimentary or would be charged. No mini-fridge. Otherwise a good place to stay for a business trip to Brighton - cheaper than the seafront but seconds away from it.

Excellent hotel!

I stayed for one night on business. Very impressive hotel overall. It was spotless throughout and my room was faultless. The breakfast quality and selection was great. The location was ideal and there is multi story parking directly opposite to the hotel. Beware parking is pricey at £28 for 12-24 hours but that’s clearly not down to this hotel. Would stay here again without hesitation if I’m working in Brighton in the future.
