A decent base, walkable into the centre. This is a separate building to the pub so no late night noise except for others staying over. We stayed one night and this was enough but cleanliness, especially the bathroom, could be improved for longer stays. Staff checking in in the pub were friendly and helpful. Good selection of local options in the lobby.

The hotel is in a lovely location with ample parking. The room was modern, nice, and clean with a secure window and comfortable beds. The WiFi was free, though there was only one chair. The bath and shower were great, but there was no toilet brush, and the sink didn't drain properly. The hotel dinner was good value for money, particularly the set menus. The hotel seemed quite busy, and the staff were very helpful and nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel accommodation was satisfactory, check in at the pub, good cooked to order breakfast and choice of food. Food service in the evening on Friday was slow due to staff having too much to do, rather than there being an issue with the staff themselves which has resulted in the okay review
