We loved this place! The receptionist at the front desk, Roxanne, was so welcoming. She’s the mayor of Bridgeport as she has all the 411 on the area. You couldn’t find a better place for your fur baby. Many of the rooms are on the Walker River and there’s a huge dog run between the rooms and the river for the dogs to play on the grass. The area is very clean, provided the owners pick up after their pets…

There was a mixup on the reservation through Expedia and the staff handled it very professionally. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a pleasant one. All staff were polite and obviously had pride in their establishment. The river front room was a breath of fresh air. Sitting on the back porch, meeting neighbors doing the same, and enjoying the scenery made the stay so enjoyable.

I was Bridgeport for work and selected The Walker River Lodge for convenience. It may look very retro but the room was great. Due to the time of year, I was able to park right in front of my room which made my stay easier. All in all, it was a really nice facility.
