Unfortunately the air-conditioning was not working for our 4 nights at the hotel and the temperatures were in the 30's. Everything else was old fashioned, but working well, like the shower etc. One of the highlights is the restaurant, with an original chef, producing great food and excellent waiting staff. In easy walking distance to Brescia sites.

The location was great walkable to the center and close to many restaurants and bars looked like very safe area. Massimo was extremely helpful up grade our room and tried to find us a driver basically answering every question. As far as I am concerned the room can be upgraded by a black out window covering , mattress and few little things but it’s very reasonable as it is. Thank you.

Lovely hotel and room with balcony. In a quiet part of town. About a 15 minute walk to a local supermarket. The room would benefit from a kettle to be ale to make a drink, but there are some vending machines on the ground floor for snacks and drinks - cash only.

Everything was great! Excellent staff, very courteous. I had the pleasure to eat dinner in the on-site restaurant and everything was exceptional. The location is also conveniently close to the old center of town. The only downside, was that the room was a little cold the first night, maybe the heater was off before my arrival?

Clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent! Large selection of savory and sweet with an abundance of food for every appetite and dietary restriction. Only lament (and this is on me for not reading amenities clearly) was the lack of access to an iron onsite. Otherwise excellent! Rooms are clean, minimal but comfortable. Perfect for my needs.

The rating of this hotel on Expedia’s website is rather misleading. The historic building is fantastic, but the rooms are very basic, at best at the level of a two stars hotel. The aircon was not working during a week with temperatures over 32C. When asked, what they will do about it, the staff said it cannot be repaired before the day of our departure. No alternative room was available. We had to insist on the staff sourcing a fan for us. They didn’t even suggest this themselves.
