Dead bugs everywhere in front of room entrances and main lobby. No reason hotel staff couldn't have swept the area clean. No smoke detector in the room (this is a crime in Texas) and the door security latch was broken and only half of it remained.

The suite room is clean, linen is clean, bathroom and kitchen is clean. There are a few minor maintenance issues: Entry door to room is difficult to open. Problematic beeping smoke detector. I was disappointed with the breakfast layout: Waffles, sugary cereal with milk, packaged crackers, packaged doughnuts, bananas. The breakfast bar needs to add eggs, oatmeal, and yogurt.
