This 1 bedroom, 1 bath rustic metal farmhouse is situated on 16 acres with a stocked pond, picnic area and fire pit. Relax on the front porch, listen to the Bluebirds, Meadow Larks and watch the sun rise while enjoying a cup of coffee. The bedroom features a shiplap wall, blackout shades, comfy bedding and a brand new queen size bed for a restful nights sleep. The super quiet HVAC mini-split system features dual controls- one for the living area and one for the bedroom. The bathroom features an antique clawfoot tub/shower combination. Our neighbor to the east has an active family dairy farm with a retail store selling milk, cheese and meat. The property is located about 20 miles from the Texas A&M campus, as the crow flies. The drive to the campus is about 25 minutes using Farm to Market road 50 which is a great route on a busy football game day. Our comfy retreat is very close to many beautiful wedding venues and wineries in historic Washington County. If Round Top is your destination, we are located about 35 minutes from the town square.
