It’s a great place and location, except one little thing- it doesn’t have a refrigerator in a room and they don’t accept your food in their kitchen refrigerators - very inconvenient policy.

Excellent hotel! The location is ideal for the main historic and cultural sights of Braunschweig, and is even walkable from the railway station (if you don’t mind a 35+ minute walk). Plenty of shopping and dining options in area, including a terrific bookstore just across the street. My room was large and airy, extremely quiet. Front desk folks were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Loved staying here, will come back for sure!

The room was equipped with the air conditioner, but I could not turn it on. I am not sure if it was broken or it is turned off for all rooms in this season (the end of May).
