Chalet 'Josef' with Private Terrace, Private Garden and Wi-Fi

In the heart of Europe's northernmost wine-growing region, the Saale-Unstrut area, lies Lake Geiseltal, the second largest artificial lake in Germany with 18.4 km². Created from a former lignite open-cast mine, it has become an idyllic recreational area for all ages.



Just 400 m from the marina, Chalet Josef awaits you as a cosy retreat of 21 m² for up to 4 guests. In this compact space, you will find everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.



The sleeping area includes a French double bed (1.40 m wide) and a bunk bed (each 80 cm wide) with cosy sheep wool blankets. A baby cot with bedding and a high chair are available free of charge upon request.



Fresh towels and bed linen are included in the price.



The small kitchenette is equipped with a fridge (with freezer compartment), two hobs, a microwave with grill function, a kettle, and a coffee machine for pads and filter coffee. Crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and napkins are also provided.



A comfortable seating area invites you to dine and play together. The pellet stove provides pleasant warmth in the colder months. A small TV, radio and free Wi-Fi offer entertainment options.



The bathroom features a natural stone washbasin, a corner shower and a toilet.



In front of the house, a small covered terrace with stylish garden furniture invites you to relax. An electric grill promises sociable BBQ evenings.



You can store your bicycles in a lockable shed on the property. Two free parking spaces in front of the accommodation and an electric charging station (billed according to usage) are available for your use.

Alles noch ziemlich neu, und alles vorhanden was man so braucht.

Pros: Die Nähe zum See und die optionale Sauna sind zusätzlich zum schnuckeligen Häuschen ein guter Pluspunkt. Auch der Garten lässt sich schön nutzen. Mit Klimaanlage und Ofen vermutlich in jeder Saison eine gute Empfehlung.

Gemütlich und klimatisiert

Pros: Das Haus war sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alle benötigten Dinge waren vorhanden. Die Klimaanlage war bei 39°C Außentemperatur ein Segen. Die Sauna haben wir nicht ausprobiert, es war draußen schon zu heiß. Der Weg bis zum See mit Badestelle war sehr kurz, max. 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Bei Regen wird es etwas laut, durch das Blechdach, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Cons: Als wir dort waren gab es mehrere Gewitter, dadurch war die WLAN Verbindung teilweise sehr schwach, bzw. unterbrochen. Der Fernseher funktionierte dann nicht, aber dank der vielseitigen Spielesammlung haben wir stattdessen Rommé gespielt. 😉
