This was a great stay. Took the family to Branson for a long weekend and spent time at the lake. The location was perfect. All of the houses and community seemed really great. We’ll be back again.

We tried this property twice & disappointed both times! Each time I called prior to booking to make sure the waterslide would be open for the kids. I was reassured each time it would be open. Each time it was closed! The first time it had to be sanded & resealed. The second time after arriving to a closed waterslide we were told all of their pool Staff quit except 1 person who would not be back until after we checked out. Nothing was offered except for a shoulder shrug from the guy at the front desk. The house's are fine, they aren't the cleanest, & are pretty weathered. The first time we were given a unit where we had to climb a flight of stairs followed by an uneven sidewalk, this was a nightmare for my retired parents & our handicap neighbors. Our wi‐fi & most of the tvs didn’t work. smoke alarms went off at random in the middle of the night & the trash would get tore up by the family of ground hogs when we put it out,leaving us a mess to clean up. The "trail to the lake dock- weedy & non existent. 2nd time we stayed by the pool much better location,& house was in better condition. Again the waterslide was closed & the hot tub at the second pool was ice cold! The house key only worked half of the time & we had to keep getting it re-keyed even tho we kept it away from keys & phones. They do call, & text you trying to get you to return & do a timeshare meeting. Overall not impressed for the cost comparison w/other resorts we've stayed at its not quite there at Stormy Point.

Perfect stay!

Lots of things to do. Enjoyed going to the top of the lighthouse a couple of times. Kids loved the pools and water slide. The house had plenty of rooms and space. It was perfect! We will definitely stay here again

We came to Stormy point for our last hoorah before school starts. We had fun in the pools and water park. We visited moonshine beach too!! We are making this our new family tradition. My only complaint is that the floors in our house were pretty dirty. We all had black feet. But who cares we washed them off in the pool 😂

Overall we liked it and will probably go back. Our unit didn't have parking a couple steps away so couldn't charge our EV like others could and was a small pain with lots of stairs for little kids. One of the main pools was closed the last 2 days which was a bummer. Liked our cottage and beds.

This resort is really close to everything Branson has to offer, the view coming in is really gorgeous and there’s a lot to do in the villa, we really didn’t get the chance to explore. But we wasn’t able to check in until 5:45, when check in begins at 4. So that’s the reason for 4 stars instead.. everything in our room was as pictured, and the rooms are pirate themed, whimsical houses.

Comfortable stay. Good amenities and enjoyed the pool. Room/house was not very clean, the floors were very dirty and could easily tell had not been mopped for weeks. Also a bit annoying to have to put up with the timeshare spiel, would love to have an option to opt out when checking in.

Cute stand alone homes! Front desk was helpful. They are timeshares and will ask you if you want to do the presentation but not pushy at all. Regrant was good. Close to everything! The lighthouse on property is cool.

The property was as described. After check in you go across to get pitched a hotel "membership". They offer a gift card and a free stay somewhere. I declined after having a horrible experience at another resort. The host got his supervisor which promised they dont push it on you like other resorts. "Dont twist your arm" is everyones favorite sales pitch. They must meant literally because thats the only they didnt do. I wasted 2-1/2 hours out of my family's vacation to get the same result as last time. You tell your salesman youre not interested and he gets his supervisor. You tell him no and he gets someone else. I will never stay somewhere that is affiliated with Capital Resorts

House was dirty. They false advertise private hot tub. No apology for it. Shower and tub had scum all around it. Pop had been spilled on the walls and not cleaned off. Ceiling had water stains from a roof leak. We stayed a few years ago and it was very nice. It is going downhill fast.

Almost canceled our reservation based on recent reviews on Expedia and Google. Couldn't find anything better last minute so we kept our reservation and glad we did. Our cottage wasn't brand new but was roomy and nice. As others have complained about, it was starting to show its age but was fine. The water slide was open the 3 days we went to the pool. Unless you sit inside or go to the bar, service at the pool wasn't great. But they had music every night and it was fun. There is a timeshare connected to the hotel and it is annoying having to talk to them to get parking pass, but a firm "not interested" ended that interaction. Our family had fun, no regrets staying there. Good value.
