We stayed in this cabin for 6 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and secluded. We loved all the wildlife we saw especially the deer. The cabin was furnished with just about everything you needed. Beds were comfortable. The view from the living room was fabulous. We had a couple of issues that were resolved immediately. Any questions we had were answered right away. Kate was very nice and helpful. Only complaints we had were low lake level and too much rain! We hope to stay here again next summer. Highly recommend this property,

The cabin should not be rented to the public.

Misrepresented amenities such as boat availability and the cabin having a cooling appliance called a "Swamp Cooler" for use instead of an air conditioner. Upon entering host posted a notice notifying the guest to provide their own water for drinking and cooking, and gave instructions as to where the water could be purchased. No smoke detector or carbon dioxide detector were observed. There was mold in the bathroom and refrigerator door gasket. Windows, screens and especially the screen porch were not clean. The building has settled significantly and the entry doors were very difficult to open and close, especially on humid or rainy days. The lighting was very poor, to the the extent that one could not read a book, etc in the evening or cloudy days. The property has a non-conforming septic system and well.

Secluded and great access

We loved this property for the swimming. Very shallow for quite a distance - made it perfect for our young children. The house was stocked with everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again!
