Three-bedroom West Bradenton house with a saltwater pool, a 37-foot swim lane, and a hot tub. Sleeps eight, two dogs welcome, dog doors included. Six-minute drive to IMG, ten to the Anna Maria Island beaches, twenty to SRQ.
The backyard is the whole point
The pool is saltwater, so no chlorine sting, and it can be heated or chilled. Don't want to swim in 92-degree water in August? Chill it. Want to swim in January? Heat it. The 7x7 spa is attached and runs on its own controls, so you can have a hot tub without heating the whole pool.
There's a 37-foot unobstructed swim lane in the pool, which is unheard of for a house this size and a real find if somebody in your group swims laps.
The whole yard is fenced and gated. Screened lanai for shade, a big patio for dinner outside, propane grill with the gas included, and landscape lighting that makes it all look great after dark. Towels, chairs, and an umbrella-shaded table are already here. Bring a swimsuit and a lot of sunscreen.
A kitchen you can actually cook in
This isn't the usual vacation rental with four forks and a warped frying pan. Stoneware service for eight, pots and pans, knives that cut, and a spice rack that's actually full. Air fryer and countertop oven, blender, stand mixer, electric kettle with a tea selection. Coffee drinkers get a sampling of K-cups to start the week.
The dining table seats eight adults. When there's eight of you and you're here for a week, being able to make a real dinner instead of hunting down a table for eight every night is worth more than it sounds. Samsung washer and dryer are one step off the kitchen.
Set up for a long stay
Three bedrooms, four beds, all new mattresses. 4K smart TVs in the living room and every bedroom. Walk-in shower in the master bath, and a bathtub/shower in the second one.
There's fiber internet with whole-house wifi (covers the yard too!) and a dedicated work area with an ultrawide monitor, a laser printer, and a hardwired ethernet connection, because somebody is usually working while everybody else is at the beach or the tournament.
I stock laundry pods, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, cleaning supplies, and a vacuum. Long stays may need to restock a few things. Board games for the day it rains.
Traveling with kids
Pack 'n Play, high chair, and toddler dishes are here. No need to haul them through the airport or add a day to your rental car reservation.
Traveling with dogs
Two dogs, any size. I have a 70-pounder myself, so the big guys are genuinely welcome, not just tolerated. Bowls, poop bags, toys, and a comfy bed are already here, plus a crate that fits dogs up to about 50 pounds. Bigger than that, bring your own.
There are dog doors out to the lanai and the backyard, so your dog can let itself out into a fully fenced yard while you're grilling.
No cats, birds, reptiles, or rodents. Three or more dogs, message me first and we'll sort it out.
Getting around
One left turn onto 43rd Street and it dead-ends into IMG Academy, three miles and about nine minutes away. The Anna Maria Island beaches are fifteen minutes. SRQ is twenty, and Tampa International is an easy drive if the fares are better.
The house sits between Manatee Avenue and Cortez Road, which are the two main shopping and dining strips in West Bradenton and also the two roads out to the island. You're close to everything without being on top of it.
It's a real neighborhood, not a rental block. Full-time families, kids on bikes, people who wave when you pull in.
Good to know
Pool heating and chilling. Optional, $30 per night for every night of your stay, billed separately from your reservation. Hot tub heating is included with that fee. If you'd rather skip the pool and just heat the spa, that's $15 per night. The heater won't work when air temperatures drop below 55 degrees, and weather can affect how well the heater and chiller keep up, so I can't refund for conditions outside my control.
Pool water. Staying longer than three days? The pool loses several hundred gallons a week to evaporation and may need topping off. There's a hose on a timer for it. Drop the end in the water, push a button, done.
Pets. A $165 pet fee applies to any reservation with a dog. It's built into your booking cost and may or may not show as its own line item depending on where you book. Covers up to two dogs.
Access. You get the whole property except a locked owner's pantry and linen closet inside, and a gated utility area next to the garage. The front door has a Schlage Encode keypad, and I'll send your four-digit code a few days before check-in.
Me. I live nearby and I'm quick to answer messages. You'll get my cell number too. My approach is to be available if you need me, but otherwise leave you alone to enjoy the place.
