Seeking a place to retreat from the chaos of daily life? The Shorebird Sanctuary provides the perfect combination of relaxation and rejuvenation. Our comfortable ‘in-law’ suite is the perfect place to disconnect and recharge. This sweet space, with its coastal décor, calming colors and private yard (corn hole, firepit, grill) is the ideal location. Close to Anna Maria Island, IMG, shops, restaurants and so much more, yet secluded enough to allow you to recover in the serene surroundings.

In-law suite:
*Bedroom, separate from living room, with queen bed, blackout curtain in bedroom entryway to create privacy for bedroom

This cozy space may be small, but it delivers big results in providing what you need to recharge and rejuvenate. Inside the Shorebird Sanctuary provides comfy couches to cuddle up with a good book or watch a movie or take an afternoon nap on our luxurious bed. Outback you can enjoy morning coffee on the patio or an evening by the fire in our fire pit area. No matter how you choose to spend your time with us, you will leave refreshed and ready to tackle life again.

Clean bed linens, quilts, and pillows for each bed. An extra set of sheets and pillow will be provided for the sleeper sofa.

Guests have full access to the entire space. We have 1 owners closet that are locked.

We communicate strictly through our booking platform so please have the app downloaded on your phone. We are always available for anything you might need.

We live just a few miles away and are available for any questions or problems. Functional smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid kit in the house.
Hospitals are minutes away if needed.

*Please note we do have cameras ONLY outside for everyone`s safety.

These cameras are located by the front doors and around the back of the house.

They will record audio and video.

Please note we do not offer refunds of any kind for any reason if it’s outside of the cancellation policy in place. Airbnb offer trip insurance for each reservation.
1. There is absolutely no smoking of any kind allowed inside the house. There is a designated smoking area by the lounge chairs outside. Please dispose of ashes and butts in the ashtray provided. Please be certain to extinguish completely. Failure to abide by this rule will result in full loss of Security Deposit.
2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight on the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of the Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agree to above.
3. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 10:00pm - 8:00am. Please respect our neighborhood and be “good neighbors” as some may not be on vacation and have to work.
4. Parking: parking is limited to two vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in the driveway. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing and applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
5. Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the proper garbage or recycling receptacle, located at the side of the house. Trash day is Monday and Fridays. Please take the recycling and/or trashcan to the curb on that day and bring it in after pick up on that day.
6. Water and hot water: DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products or diapers should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products or diapers have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged for the repairs and damages.
7. Do not set the air conditioning temperature below 70F. The coils will freeze and you will be charged for damage to the unit.

9. Note we supply a starter kit of all toiletries, laundry detergent, dish soaps etc… after that it’s the guest’s responsibility.
