The hotel is walkable to a lot of restaurants and shops, very convenient. However, some of the front desk people are rude. One time we all had to go out of the bldg bec the fire alarm went of due to someone smoking in the non smoking floor in the middle of the night which really inconvenienced a lot of people and no body from the hotel even apologized or guided the people or explained what happened. Poor customer service. The front desk when asked about certain questions responds very hauty and rushed- makes you feel like why did you call them or ask for help- they are the front desk they’re supposed to help! The house keeping staff was very nice though. The elevator broke down too 2x during my 1 week stay there. Them police came as well during this time, coz one of the previous customers overstayed and causing a scene by the pool. If it weren’t for the very convenient location and free breakfast. I wouldn’t feel comfortable to stay here.

Hostility instead of Hospitality

I've stayed at this property about 8 times last 5 years and this was sadly the worst experience. After checkin I went up to my room but there was trash in front of the door with 'Still Enjoying the Room (Do not Disturb)' hanging and I could hear a woman talking on the phone inside. So I went downstairs to ask for a different room and it turned out the clerk wrote the wrong room # on the envelope. Twice (430, 410 then 420) In the morning the lady at breakfast room was not at all friendly - when I asked if they had whipped cream for the waffles she just said NO! Not "I'm sorry we don't" or "No ma'am" Just abrupt NO! When I returned to my room in the afternoon I noticed the housekeeping was just coming around but hasn't serviced my room yet. I politely asked for 2 bath towels and to my surprise I was told NO. How is it possible that the housekeeping person didn't have any more towels? She said my room wasn't on her list and I had to request the service in advance. I called the front desk and she said I was not required to request the service and she would send someone with towels. Later on a woman came to bring me towels but her demeanor was angry and hostile, saying the Front Desk was wrong, housekeeping is every other day unless the guest requests otherwise. How nice for the environment but it would have been nice if I was given consistent information from different people. Overall it seemed like employees weren't happy with their jobs and I didn't feel welcomed AT ALL.
