The Hotel is in front of train rails- Trains are very noisy and wake people up late at night and early in the morning-“ My Cousin Vinny “experience . The owner was quite defensive about it . People need to know about the the train!

This is such a beautiful old building filled with some of the neatest americana I've ever seen. Our room had some minor issues, and when I reached out to the Diana, whose in charge of housekeeping, she immediately remedied the situation. The breakfast was very tasty and getting to talk to the owner was great. All in all it was a really nice stay at a beautiful place with great people working there. The southern hospitality was off the charts. I would highly recommend to any friends and family going to the Corvette Museum or Mammoth cave!

We absolutely loved our stay! The breakfast was a highlight — the chef was so charismatic and even treated us to a little magic show while cooking (talk about entertainment included with your eggs! 😂). The server was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Our room was quaint and cozy, perfectly decorated to match the era of the house. It honestly felt like stepping back in time, where everything slowed down and you could just breathe and enjoy the moment. Such a peaceful and memorable stay we can’t wait to come back! If you are reading this a love thrifting on a budget stay away from anything with “antique” in the name! There are tons of amazing thrift shops a little further down the road!

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Victorian. The hotel is a living history museum of decades past. On arrival we were a little overwhelmed by the number antiques and nick-naks but quickly acclimated. The hotel and room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The nearby railroad crossing was noticeable but not too loud on the backside of the hotel. 1 or 2 trains each night. The staff and proprietors were very hospitable and helpful. Very convenient location to Mammoth Cave NP.

A+ Stay at Grand Victorian Inn

Gary and Karin were very welcoming. The room was clean, and the Bed & Breakfast was beautiful. Overall, it was very peaceful and quiet! We got to relax in the little gazebo and watch the fireflies at sunset. The resident feline, which I only ever saw outside, was also very friendly.

This B&B is in a beautiful historic building that were restored by the owners, Karen and Gary. They are very friendly. The breakfast was great. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to visit the Mammoth Cave National Park. Although there are trains going by a few times at night,.. no horns after 9pm and before 6am, so i was not bothered by the nightly trains. I highly recommend this place.
