"The house is very distinctive. It is just off the main (but quiet) road, so easy to find. The owner's house is across from it. The view is excellent, you are not overlooked at the back of the house and you have access to the farmland. There are a number of very nice walks - the late summer skies over the ripening orchards were just beautiful. The house is well featured, with everything reasonably provided for (including a kettle and coffee machine & percolator). Aircon is provided in the living area and top floor bedroom. We brought our Firestick to watch online (being easier to do so than use the TV). The middle floor sleeps up to 4 people (double and 2 single beds), while the top floor is double. Like a lot of period french houses, the upper stairs is steep - but is well built, with a good handrail. The pool is above ground, accessed by an up-and-over ladder. While this is fine for most people, it is a bit wobbly - so it will feel unstable for those less sure on their feet. It's also felt quite cool, but was at around 25 degrees C according to the thermometer. The host, Solange, could not have been friendlier. She made a real effort to make us feel welcome and settled. Warm and personable, without being instrusive."

"This is a very tired former Campanile hotel (still signposted to Campanile) and a poor reflection on the Kyriad brand. It would have been useful to know before booking for a Sunday evening that the restaurant would be closed and that there are no restaurants safely within walking distance. The bedside lights did not work leaving only a very dim main light and the door would not lock from inside. Would never stay here again. "

"David and Nadine are wonderful hosts! We loved how personable they were and they didn’t use the pool or boost us very often, so it felt private. It’s the best villa holiday we’ve had in many years, as always with pros and cons: Pros - Near good bakeries - lovely view over the hills - Pool close to house and private - Secure property and felt safe - David is amazing at caring for the guests, they even bought us wine, saucisson and breakfast! Couldn’t ask for more - Lovely fig tree on site, kept us well supplied! (August) - good access to Acro branch, via ferrata, cycling and attractions - Well cleaned by Nadine in person - Available quickly for any repairs on site - Has great air con on site, fantastic in the summer! - Great outdoor kitchen, BBQ and gas cooking area. Very nice Cons - Near autoroute - can hear it at night - I wouldn’t bring 8 people here, really 6 max - Car bumper scratches badly on entry to the drive. Need to use some wood to stop it bottoming out! - pool tiles very slippy when wet - beds not very comfortable, was very glad to get back to our beds at home - kitchen not super well designed. Fridge and microwave in unusual spots - Pretty expensive for what it is, maybe would expect a better standard for the price - Drive way needs building properly (loose stones) Overall one of the better villas we’ve stayed in over the last few years, but could be better for what is quite a high cost and asking price"
