Staff brilliant, room fit for purpose and clean, parking on site limited , ( always been lucky when we stay). Breakfast is absolutely fantastic a must have when staying. Easy walk through park to centre or via road, bus stops up a steep walkway for the able people or round road for others, ( I managed slop with a crutch) .

This is an old property, with fewer conveniences one would expect at a higher priced hotel, but it was clean, all rooms are en-suite and if you are willing to walk a couple of miles to the city centre, it is worth staying here at a price lower than the city centre. Staff is helpful and a tour company on site offers some pre-arrannged trips tp different places.
