Make sure you know exactly where you're going!

Check in procedure was diabolical. No clear signs, no clear idea what building to check into. People milling about with absolutely no idea where to go. We walked (no mean feat in the mountains) to one building as there were no signs on the building the email directed us to, and luckily, they found our booking, but we were at the wrong hotel. When we got to the "right" hotel, they couldn't find our booking - absolute shambles. We were "lucky" we didn't have young children in tow. Also the information on the website said there was a bar and a restaurant; there wasn't.

Une semaine en famille dans une résidence très agréable. Une navette (cabine) à proximité évite l'utilisation de la voiture pour accéder au centre de la station. Le logement était très bien équipé et la fourniture des serviettes et peignoirs appréciables. L'accueil était très pro et le personnel d'une extrême gentillesse. Bref, nous recommandons ce lieu.

Located above the village center (very calm) but need to climb quite a lot - so keep in mind if you have elderly family members or very young children. Fridge didn’t work well. The rest was very good: floor, view on the MontBlanc, bathrooms.... however more expensive than by booking directly through the French website of Pierre et Vacances (we paid twice as much as my parents for the same appartment). Make sure to triple check rates before booking.

The location is great for ski in- ski out. It was rooms were toasty warm all the time. The design aesthetic of the rooms and public open space is charmingly local without being too hokey. Reception staff were always pleasant and happy to assist and all had good English.

Difficult location and too many dogs

The first point is that there are two blocks of apartments set on the mountain above Arc 1800. It seems pot luck which one you get. Alpages de Chantel is higher and close to the top of the free pedestrian cable car from the village, Roselend is lower and less convenient although it has the swimming pool. We stayed at Roselend with a 3 year old and a baby, compete with pram. To get to town was a stiff walk down a steep road and back up again (the buses do not run between 1200 and 1500 during the week), or a path which joined the ski slope (impossible for a pram). The alternative was to climb up a ski slope to the cable car (again impossible with a pram). For skiers life is much easier and Roselend is pretty much ski in ski out. The apartment was showing its age a little but was large, reasonably clean and was comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly and the spa was good. One major concern was the huge quantity of dog poo around Roselend. Although there were poo bags provided we never saw one being used, meaning that children playing in the snow, building snowmen etc were in for a nasty present. We would not return.

Calme. Un peu vieillot. Belle vue sur les sapins enneigés en rez de jardin. Appartement un peu exigü pour 6 couchages. Equipement cuisine bien. Literie confortable. Wifi gratuit fonctionnel. SPA/piscine sur place avec soins du corps sur commande. Possibilité de descendre au SPA directement en peignoir de bain par l'extérieur. Accueil sympathique, disponible et réactif. Restaurant de montagne typique au rez de chaussée. Ski Set sur place. Petite épicerie sur place mais sans plus. Pistes proches.

Super séjour !

Appartement très confortable et très bien équipé (même une cafetière à capsules + une à filtre !) Le micro-ondes faisait four, appareil à raclette disponible... Un peu pénible de prendre la télécabine pour revenir quand il y a du monde, mais au pire la montée se fait bien à pied (25mn). Petit souci avec le chauffage (beaucoup trop chaud, réglé sur 30°C, la sonde indiquait 26°C, non réglable par soi-même et difficilement par le personnel...) Nous n'avons manqué de rien, piscine un peu fraîche la première fois malgré les 32°C indiqués, bien chaude la deuxième fois, très agréable. Le prix est quand même très élevé... mais si le budget le permet, nous reviendrons certainement.

Haus Roseland - nicht Haupthaus Gefallen hat: Sauber, nettes Personal, Superblick auf den Mont Blanc, kurze Wege zu Restaurants und Supermarkt, Superschnell am Lift und direkt zurück mit Ski ins Hotel. Nicht gefallen: Personal im Haupthaus war sehr sehr unfreundlich - man hatte das Gefühl man stört, Saunanutzer sitzen ohne Handtuch in der Sauna, war nicht wirklich schön.

gewoon compleet en zeer goed en heel vriendelijk.

Super werking van het personeel, we hadden 2 defecte toestellen en dat was binnen het uur allemaal opgelost. Verder alles zeer net en aangenaam zoals we het hadden verwacht. Zeker een aanrader voor wie eens graag in de bergen wil vertoeven met een verblijf zonder zorgen en de nodige luxe.

Fantastic location right on the slopes, but nice and quiet at night, There is a short pedestrian cable car down to the main resort for shopping/eating although there is a takeaway and two restaurants close to the apartments. Apartment slept 6 comfortably, but the lack of a proper oven was limiting for self catering. Would certainly stay here again

Spacieux mais pas sur le centre de la station

Dommage que la montée à pied pour arriver au bâtiment dépuisé le centre soit très difficile. Il manque un tapis roulant. Une fois rentré du ski plus de courage de sortir pour prendre un apero ou dîner sur la station, à cause de la montée pour rentrer.

good base for skiing

The apartments have all the features you would expect for ski accommodation, ski locker and ski rental very nearby (Ski Set and Precision Ski). The hotel has some additional services such as a pool and sauna. There is a lovely bakery / pizza place on the ground floor which was great for getting fresh bread and pastries for breakfast as well as some nice restaurants nearby. You can ski in and out of the accommodation from the ski locker and for the non-skiers there is a very convenient gondola lift down the main village. The apartment itself was very warm with good showers and hot water. The area that this accommodation falls down is the facilities in the room. We had a Superior apartment… I am not too sure what was superior to as the furnishings and décor were quite basic. There was a kitchen with a kettle, hob, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso … but strangely no oven (I would probably have preferred an oven to a coffee machine). One negative was there was a significant lack of electric points and lighting. I would strongly recommend taking a power board or 3. The rooms were very dark with very few additional lamps (and even if you get lamps there’s nowhere to plug them in). Also in a 3 bed apartment there was only 1 WC. The room apartment was reasonable for 4 adults, I think 6 people would be a squeeze. All that being said the accommodation was comfortable and good as a base for skiing which was what we went for, also there are facilities for non-skiers.

Appartments in Les Arcs France in the Alps.

The position with regard to ski in and out is good. You need to check whether your balcony actually has a view. Ours didn't due to being in the roof area. That was disappointing and although the accommodation was quite comfortable and warm the single beds were very small and the lighting in the main bedroom was very poor. The staff were efficient but not overhelpful. We had to figure it out for ourselves mostly. We asked if we could change rooms as we had no view at all and we fully expected to be given another room but we were told that none was available even though it was plainly obvious that it was not fully booked. I couldn't see in the wardrobe without positioning a lamp on a small table in front of the open wardrobe door. The bathrooms were fine though a large person would have struggled to get into the shower in the ensuite. There is one restaurant close by where you have to book. Food is very good. There is a pizza takeaway and bar which is good also. There are no shops other than skiset. You can place orders for breakfast.Last lift back to the appartments at night is at 10 30 which is a pain but other than that they are very frequent. Tranfers to the bus stop on the Saturday am are packed and not frequent and you have to get your stuff to the meeting point which is ok if the road is clear of snow but we struggled to get on the bus due to the number of people. An extra run would beuseful.

Ski in , ski out

Good position, able to ski in and out and a new lift to service these hotels till late in the evening. Facilities are good and rooms are good, even had a sauna in our room. Staff very friendly, and good boot room to store your skis.

Lækkert sommersted i et vinterparadis

Der er hvad man skal bruge. Gode køkken forhold og lækkert badeværelse. Boede desværre i stue/kælderplan og havde ingen mulighed for terrasse eller altan. Det fik det til at virke lidt klemt Området er attraktivt så vel om sommeren som om vinteren.

Жили в 6 местном двухэтажном номере четверо. Очень удобно. Большая кухня и гостиная, Скирум хорошо расположен, пару метров и ты на трассе.Большой бассейн. Из минусов, постоянно холодная сауна и хамам. Электроэнергию экономят......
