Place was secure, the one lady who waited on me was very pleasant and helpful. The property's stairs are very rough, perhaps dangerous. I cannot believe ownership had only one person trying to get everything done, with a full booked hotel.

The recent renovations of this hotel is like putting lipstick on a pig. Unsafe neighborhood with gambling houses nearby and INSIDE the hotel by the front desk. Lots of undesirable people staying and living in the hotel, rusted out rails and stairs. The rooms themselves are alright, but the overall impression of the hotel has you counting down the hours until you can check out.

It's kind of loud here because it's near a loud intersection. Some guests were also yelling in the evening. The room is very clean and has an updated decor, and the bed is fine. Good pillows.The exterior areas are a bit rough looking, but the staff are very nice and helpful.
