This was by far the most miserable hotel experience I have ever had, especially for the price on New Year’s Eve. The rooms are shockingly small — the most cramped, uncomfortable hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.
We originally booked over the phone with a pleasant employee, only to arrive and discover she had booked us at an entirely different hotel without telling us. Completely unacceptable. The front desk employee said he would “upgrade” us for the inconvenience, but this so-called upgrade was actually a downgrade in both room size and quality.
To make matters worse, there was NO HOT WATER anywhere in the hotel. Staff admitted they were aware of this issue and knew it likely would not be fixed that night — or even for days — yet they failed to disclose this before taking our money. Selling rooms under those conditions is unethical.
When we called the front desk about the hot water, the employee was rude, dismissive, and essentially told us to “deal with it.” On top of that, the electrical outlet next to the bed did not work, preventing me from using a heating pad I require for medical reasons.
We also ordered food from the hotel restaurant, which arrived cold with shockingly small portions — comparable to a child’s meal.
Between the dishonesty, lack of basic amenities, rude staff, and overall poor conditions, this hotel is an absolute disgrace. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
