Our room was on the top floor. No lift so a few flights of stairs to get there. Room was small but adequate. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. We dined in the restaurant as there wasn't a lot of choice nearby. Hotel was handy for what little Boston had to offer.

The first thing to comment on is how good the staff were. Helpful and friendly in every area. In other areas the experience was good but fell down slightly on detail. The room was cosy, but needed a bit of TLC. A bit of paint touching here and there. Dinner was good, but the sea bass was tiny and the lamb pie was parsimonious with the lamb. The sticky toffee pudding could have been warmer. The menu is not cheap. At breakfast ingredients were excellent but eggs cooked too long, tomatoes too little.
