The Kendall is so unique and lovely. It’s so fun to see the history and the relics of the old firehouse that are tastefully placed throughout the hotel. Everyone working was so nice and helpful. We had a nice quiet room. We were so close to MIT and the T. Getting around town was simple. There are several restaurants and bakeries close by. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and came with the room. The lobby is a nice spot to relax. And the have a bag check service so if you arrive before check in you don’t have to haul your bags all over town.

The room was beautiful and refreshingly not cookie‑cutter, and the lobby had a similar character—very pleasant to sit and relax in. Breakfast was truly excellent. The location couldn’t be closer to MIT, which was crucial for me. The only downside is that the building is older, so you can hear footsteps from the room above and people talking in the hallway. Not ideal if you’re a light sleeper.
