The hotel entrance and foyer were very clean and inviting. The rooms were also clean. The rooms were basic compared to the foyer but overall our stay was what we expected and needed. The staff was very friendly when needed. The location was perfect for what our party needed. Walking distance to everything. It was a longer walk to the south end but doable and about 30 min total as we walked it two days. The hotel offered a number of amenities, restaurants and coffee shop. You won’t be disappointed.

The hotel is not what it used to be 10 years ago. Rooms are worn off and lack maintenance, for example, the water handle in the shower was falling off. The hotel charges a substantial resort fee on top of a published rate, but does not even provide free water, not to mention the total absence of breakfast. The location is quite far from both Boston downtown and MIT/Harvard. Metro is also around 20 minutes walk.

For a room at 400 a night, I expected that the shower wouldn’t create a huge puddle outside the shower. The AC unit wasn’t great. Size of the room was decent at best & it wasn’t entirely a view of the river as expected. But the hotel was clean.

This was the worst hotel, took 45 mins to check in, the room was gross. There was someone sock in the bed and the shower looked like it was never cleaned. I called downstairs to complain and was put on hold twice. No one cares, will never stay here again….so many better options in Boston!!!!!
