So, the place fitted my needs, I booked a single room and got a 12x6 room with a shared bathroom. The bed was comfortable and I got a good sleep, yes it's inconvenient to leave the room to use the bathroom but the cost of hotels in Boston at the time of my trip resulted in me taking the room. The area is great, walking distance to downtown and everything that goes with it. Just don't book a room with high expectations of grandeur. It's a place to sleep. There are no staff on site but the check in/out was flawless and the codes provided worked without fault. I would recommend booking here but just be aware that you get what you pay for relative to other more expensive hotels in town.

The worst hotel I ever stayed. The stairway is so unsafe. The room is very very small, and poorly equipped. There is no adequate power connection, I can not plug my phone. The worst thing is no staff on duty. You can not fine any assistant, from check-in to check-out. It is not a hotel, it is a crap room in a desert building. Really bad!

This is a lovely room in an excellent location for a fantastic price. We found a couple great places for breakfast in easy walking distance, and we appreciated easy access to T stations and other destinations. This is an historic structure, so what it lacks in modern amenities it makes up for in historic charm. Unfortunately, an older structure also means more maintenance, and the management seems to have been dropping the ball on some of this. I noticed a few areas with peeling paint or peeling wallpaper. And a major issue in the bathroom was covered up by plastic sheets stapled to the plaster. Additionally, their mismanagement or miscommunication was on stark highlight when a maintenance worker inadvertently barged in on us, apparently having been told that the unit was unoccupied. Very embarrassing all around.

Really good deal for the price you pay ! I stayed 6 nights and didn’t have any issues other than the sheets and the mattress kept getting “wet” from the overall humidity in the room. The bathrooms are shared but I never had issues using it.

The condition of the place was sub standard - worse than any youth hostel. Bathroom with huge hole in the ceiling and dirty old air filter left on the hand basin. Advertised as a suite! No plug for sink, no cutlery, very little crockery, good fridge and paper towels. Not serviced in 3 days. Rubbish left for 3 days. No replacement towels. Not 2 rooms sharing bathroom as told. One night at least 3 rooms sharing. Good location but not value for money. It was a noisy area at night.

Good stay overall. If the management wanted to turn this into an even better experience they would improve the bath on floor “3” by adding hooks or shelves to put your stuff while showering etc, repaint especially the ceiling with some mildew, and slightly redo the shower floor so it doesn’t have a pool of the last person’s shower water. All small things but also easy to fix to make it from an economical stay to a really good stay.

I have no clue why this place even has the word suites in the name. The photos absolutely are not what the rooms look like. It is extremely old, outdated, and cheap. I had no clue there was a community bathroom you had to share with everyone on your floor until after i had booked and they sent an email. Very misleading to say the least.

Overall was a horrible experience. The room was not as pictured. It was basically a closet with a bed shoved into it.The bathroom on the floor was not even a bathroom. It was a closet with one toilet in it. No sink, the room itself was next to a highway which was so loud no one should be exposed to that during sleep. I can’t believe they sold me this. Horrible, horrible horrible This is basically a flop house. Falling apart, trash on the street in front of the property. Do not in anyway stay at this place or pay more than $75.

Fine if you’re not fussy

If you’re not too fussy, this place is fine. The location is great and the bed was super comfy. Check in and check out was very easy. My room was very noisy. The window is propped open for the ac vent and the property is on a busy road so the traffic noise is intolerable without ear plugs. Luckily I had some with me. The shared bathroom is OK. It was always free when I needed it but there was a leak from the room above and some of the plaster from the ceiling fell down during my stay. Some of the earlier reviews mention a mouse in the room at night. Thankfully I saw no evidence of mice but I was on the third floor and didn’t bring snacks into the room just in case! I wouldn’t stay here again but it was cheap and served a purpose.
