Supposed to be non-smoking property. I checked in late and staff was kind and communicative about where to get my key however the room smelled like 80 grandmothers had a smoke-athon. I advised them of this the next morning and, while kind, were “shocked” and I have no doubt that is not the case. Speaking to locals later on, it is known for questionable characters smoking up and they would not give any kind of credit for the first night. They did let me out of my second night reservation for which I paid an extreme premium to move somewhere else but it was worth every penny. I left the next morning and my hair and clothes reeked of the smell.

This was a nice hotel, with many pluses. Very nice staff, clean, great location, nicely appointed, easy parking, quiet, plenty of hot water and good pressure - lots of positives. Two points of recommendation - it is an old building and we were on the bottom level. The floor in the room was definitely NOT level. This would not necessarily be a problem, except it made the one bed not level. Even though the bed itself was comfortable, it was a bit like sleeping in a camper that was not parked on level ground. All night, one was slipping down. Secondly, we stayed at the hotel in mid October and we are warm blooded southerners. We could not get the room warm, no matter how we worked the heater/air conditioner. Additionally, the unit was so loud kicking on and off, that it would have been impossible to sleep if we had left it on. Maybe we are overly picky, but for the two reasons above, we probably will not stay here again. One has to be able to sleep!

Very clean and comfortable. Stayed there on accident and we were so happy with our stay. Friendly and helpful staff. We were recommended to eat at schooners, a short 2 min walk from our room, where I Had the best prime rib and steak tips I’ve ever had in my life. The beach was an even shorter walk and the sunrise view was amazing. Will definitely stay again. Thank you.

We stayed at this hotel by the water and it was absolutely beautiful! The view was stunning, and the room was spotless, spacious, and honestly the nicest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in — I could easily live there! The service was incredible too. Wonderful stay at Nantasket Beach Hotel! Not to be confused with the Nantasket Beach Resort up the street, the Beach Hotel feels more like staying in your own apartment with kitchenette, including mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, abd the overall room condition/how well the room was maintained (everything looked newly painted and fresh). Hotel owners/staff were very nice and helpful with questions about the town, taking the ferry, etc. Only a few minutes walk to get sand between your toes! Cute places to eat around there too. If you are looking for a convenient, lovely stay in Hull, this is the place.

This is not a hotel. There is no direct view of the beach. Our room had a view of the parking lot which was steps away. I couldn't open the window as it was the frame was broken. The bathroom was the size of a phone booth. You could not close the door or open it without moving in a certain direction.No counter space for personal items. The room had a stale beer bar room smell. This is a motel at best and not a good one. Nantasket is a beautiful beach with some really good restaurants. I would return to the area but not to this motel.
