I contracted a king bed in room in historic part of inn & was given a queen bed in a wing that is new not historic. It was not what i had before & not what I wanted at all. Inferior room for premium price!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Easy transition to the restaurant on premises for dinner. Nice after a long drive. Only draw back is the heater in the room was quite loud, as it kicked in to maintain heat throughout night. If you are a light sleeper, it can be hard to sleep through.

Don’t go in room 3 in the winter. It was 55 degrees with the thermostat on 90 and the front desks solution was to offer more blankets. If you want a cheap motel with a colonial flare, you’ve found it!

The room was very clean. We were in a pet-friendly room so it was away from the main part of the Inn. We really just went to our room and never saw anyone. It was a little annoying that when I went to the front desk at about 9:30 pm to ask for 2 bottles of water since none had been put in our room, the older gentleman said they only had 1 bottle and didn't offer to get another bottle. .

I believe they mislead customers. I booked a room only to be placed in one that was smaller and had fewer windows. When I inquired about the room I had initially booked they said it was haunted. It was not mentioned on their site but it was what drew me in.

A nice visit. The historic aspect added to the overall stay. There is a lot of interesting trivia to browse. Our room was in the back over the delivery entrance and was very loud at 5am. No breakfast during the week in spite of several large serving areas but there's good options close by.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I was very grateful for staff help with my suitcase up and down some stairs. The Inn was decorated pretty for the holidays. Like the living room space to spend more time with good friends after breakfast. Always a charming Inn and town. Happy Holidays!
