Room had no artwork. Bare walls View of the roof. Bed not comfortable. Only thing good about this place is location and a nice bar. Front desk people are not cordial at all. Act like they hate their jobs. I really do t understand this place. It’s like the management is completely out to lunch. Customer service except in tavern is nonexistent. I’ve been here 5 x in a year and not once ever greeted as a return customer. Why do I keep going back? No other good options and bar is great as is Main Street in concord for shopping etc.

This hotel is amazing! While a historic hotel the rooms are clean with updates to the bathrooms. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The 2 restaurants and tavern serve the same exact menu but the food was great. We have no complaints!

A fantastic historical inn. Right in the center of town within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The rooms are smallish but completely comfortable and very clean. The restaurant and tavern is excellent. Parking is ample and very convenient.

I love historic properties so this one was especially delightful close to so many sites of interest. Love the decor and all the Americana, with the history comes older facilities but if you can get past that it’s wonderful to stay in a charming original place. I especially enjoyed the dining options and decor- completed visit with a “shot heard round the world” shot glass for sale at the front desk! Great friendly staff as well.
