Overall it was nice enough but in the room in front of the refrigerator cabinet the carpet must've had a whole beer poured out and the shower/bath spicket shower knob was spraying water out at the shower pull knob/rod until you pulled it up for shower. Everything else was ok.

Hotel was good. We had an amazing view, the pub food was delicious, and breakfast was very good. The only problem we had was the water in the room only ran lukewarm. Told front desk, but but wasn't fixed before we left. Definitely made for uncomfortable showers.

We had a lovely spacious room overlooking the river. The staff were friendly and courteous. We loved the food in the restaurant. There was a karaoke the night we arrived, it was great fun.

We stayed for 4 nights and were pleasantly suprised. The bed was very comfortable, staff happy and breakfast was simple but plentiful. On our last night, we were woken to the noise of a mouse in our room. I had seen the reviews that suggested this was an issue previously but maily on the ground floor. We were on the 2nd floor. It did take the shine off an otherwise good experience. We reported the issue when we checked out. We were disappointed in the way that the reveptionsit responded - basically wasnt really interested or grateful that we had shared the information with her. It came across that she had been told of this issue before.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been in and only stayed because there was no other option. Booked a two bed room for one night at a reasonable rate. On check-in we were given a room with only one double bed and absolutely no room to even put our luggage. When I called the desk I was told they were full so no option to change. However when I went down to reception with a copy of my confirmation another room was suddenly available but it was one bed and a hide a bed. At least this room was big enough to accommodate us and our luggage. The hide a bed was a disaster, springs sticking out, etc. This hotel is well worn and in bad need of a refresh. Common areas are dirty with stained carpet and splash marks on the doors and walls. The staff blamed Expedia and said if we had booked direct the situation would have been different! Also, there were dogs barking in their rooms and in the halls. Worst hotel ever.

Overpriced for what you get

Giant hairy bug in the room, took me 9 tries to get something out of the vending machine, breakfast was pretty bad (cold pancakes, cold "omelets"). The bar says it's open until 11 but at 9pm check-in we were told "she's closing up soon". My room did have a nice view of the river.
