Nice hotel on a quiet street with a restaurant and coffee shop nearby. Has a kitchen and dining area upstairs. There is a balcony off of the dining room where I was able to see auroras without leaving the building

Setrio Guest House is an excellent place to stay in Borganes. Conveniently located, beautiful shared bathrooms and in Borganes which many travelers drive right past. There are shared cooking and eating facilities if that’s what you like. A delightful place and area.

A very unassuming exterior, but a recently refurbished modern and cosy interior. Great value for money, and as a single traveller I am always happy to come across a single room. The room was a decent size and very comfortable. Shared bathrooms were fantastic, very roomy with great showers. The common kitchen was well equipped and spacious. One of my top accommodation choices in Iceland. Only negative was getting check in instructions very late. This involved ringing a number a the cafe down the road to get someone to check us in. Not great when you have a data only SIM. Thankfully, another customer arrived at the same time who rang the person who was to check us in. I didn't even see the instructions until afterwards.

Newly remodeled interior, but shared bathrooms down the hall. The building and grounds exterior condition is very discouraging. The picture posted on Expedia is not representative. No staff on location, and no way for a traveler without local cell service to contact them. We had to go to a local market and ask someone to call the number posted on the door.

This was a room in a house with a shared bathroom which was well stocked and clean. We had access to a full kitchen, large dining area, a balcony. The room was nice and the area was nice in a small town that felt safe. Lovely house with nice amenities in the lobby area as well.

We enjoyed our stay at the Setrid Guesthouse. The suite was very comfortable, and the shared spaces were inviting, particularly the lounge on the third floor. We look forward to staying again on our next trip to Iceland.
