Visiting Bordeaux for the first time, our host made us feel welcome and provided an excellent overview of the town, places to see, a few (very excellent) food recommendations and was available the whole stay to answer questions. Our room was perfectly prepared with everything we needed. The location made for easy walking to markets/attractions and also the tram. We had a fabulous time thanks to George’s fine hospitality.

Le Parentheses was a great stay

We had a wonderful stay.Our host was very helpful and knowledgeable. The neighborhood is a great location within walking distance of the train station and the downtown. The room was quiet and the host accommodated my gluten-free diet for breakfast. Convenient Laundromat right next door.

Georges is an excellent and very helpful owner/manager of the property. The location of the property is not ideal as it is situated in a less affluent part of the town with an ambient that clearly demonstrates that. A 15 minute walk to get to more appealing dining and shopping options.

George was a great host he kindly provided a map with all the attractions we had to visit. Brilliant restaurant referral - best food Cosmopolitan area within easy walk of centre or tram available. Room fantastic but keep in mind steps up to access room are steep if you have mobility issues. A bar fridge would be a welcome addition however George provided iced water and no doubt would chill champagne/wine if needed

Lovely room, quirky but beautifully done. Situated In a busy area but once inside it was very quiet, cool and restful. Transport links were very good and cost effective but only 20-30 minutes walk to heart of the city. Many places to eat depending on what and how far you want. George was an excellent host - welcoming, knowledgeable and ‘visible’ when needed but never intrusive. We booked breakfast in-house 1st morning - superb and enough for the day😁. Highly recommended.

Une expérience vraiment sympathique. George, le maitre des lieux est un personnage attachant. Loquace, distillant conseils et idées pour visiter, déjeuner, diner. De toute évidence, il met tout son coeur dans ce lieu où il propose 4 chambres différentes. La déco est apaisante, tout est nickel et les petites attentions ne manquent pas. Y aller.

Georges est au petit soins, un petit cocon dans lequel on se sent en sécurité ! Maison d’hôte toute récente donc décorations et installations au top. Seul bémol: le quartier est particulier mais tout de même très proche du centre (10min à pied)
