Property is at the end of downtown. It is a 2 minute walk to the free Bar Harbor trolley that can take you around town and even to the other side of the harbor. But downtown is all walkable from TugBoat. Our room was attached to the Tugboat which is the restaurant. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the shower has some of best water pressure I have ever experienced. Checkin was a breeze and the staff is very helpful in making sure you know your parking options and how to get to your room They provide a map of the property that has breakfast options around town We never had problems with parking at all. The views from our room were incredible as we were actually staying over the water

The hotel is right on the water & in the heart of town. Friendly & super helpful staff. Wonderful view of the harbor from our room. Nice restaurant with good seafood and excellent service. I left a fanny pack behind after dinner with cash, credit cards, and passport. It was promptly returned, nothing missing. We loved our stay and recommend the Tugboat Inn highly.

The staff fell to tell us the heater was also the a/c. During the night when I was looking for cooling the control said heater control. Parking is a problem and check-in is not located at the property. It was time consuming checking in and getting to the property. Food in the restaurant was very good. Knowing what to expect, I would do it again.
