Room 16 is a compact, newly updated queen room on the ground floor, and the inn's most affordable room. It suits a couple or a solo traveler who will spend the day on the water and in town.

It has a comfortable queen bed and a private bath, with no stairs. The room itself has no direct water view; the solarium, main balcony and lawn chairs a few steps away do.

Admirals Quarters Inn is a historic sea captain's home at 71 Commercial St, on the water in downtown Boothbay Harbor. It runs like a small Boothbay Harbor hotel, with a front desk, free parking, a shared guest kitchen and a harbor-view solarium, but it still feels like a home.

Jersey, out host, was very welcoming and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The room was adequate and the common areas were exceptional. The harbor view was panoramic, and dining and shops were within walking distance. Attractions were accessible within a short travel time.
