I’ve heard nice things about this “hotel”. My experience wasn’t bad, it was just weird. My room was located at the back of the bar off by itself. I didn’t feel a part of anything. The room itself was okay, but very much overpriced, but I assume that the price was tripled due to the particular weekend. I felt like an intruder each time I entered the property to access my room. I wouldn’t stay in that room again (#6). I can’t tell you what the actual hotel is like because I’m not certain that I was in it. I had no real interaction with staff.

Very cool, well located hotel but they never gave me the $25 VIP credit. Nice free breakfast. Rooms are very noisy in the early am. You can hear neighbors showeer/plumbing .

I paid Expedia for a ground floor room, there is no ground floor rooms here there is a lobby and a bar. The room they put you in because you booked through Expedia is a basement that smells musty and has no windows.

We enjoy staying at the Horton Hotel in Boone, NC. The rooftop bar is so fun! The beds are comfortable, showers are big, and have complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash. There is also complimentary hand soap and lotion. Complimentary coffee and breakfast. Walkable to all if downtown Boone and App State campus. Overall it is excellent!

The parking was a lil’ confusing.. but manageable. The staff at first were taken back with us since we are deaf. Once they figured out how to communicate with us it was smooth sailing.

Parking wasn’t very convenient, there were spiders and gnats in our room, bathroom was small, BREKFAST server was not especially pleasant…. Don’t feel like the room and hotel was worth the almost 250.00 we paid for one night. The sleep inn we stayed in the night before was 150.00 cheaper and roomier and had a better breakfast. The location was great and the roof top bar was cool but that’s about it.
