Easy parking. The lobby was gorgeous. Super friendly and down to earth staff. The room was absolutely beautiful. Felt so clean and organized but also had some great character. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the mountains from the balcony was a nice touch. Only negative was there was not a microwave in the room and we really needed one. They have one available in the lobby, I found out at check out. Would absolutely stay there again.

We loved our stay and the food at Over Yonder was amazing! Truly the best meals we’ve had ever. Cocktails are crafted for the season and very yummy. Our only negative was honestly the bar manager. She’s very surly and appeared to not like any of the guests or doing her job. She seemed irritated with the guests and her amazing staff. I saw her rolling her eyes at one of her staff who was just restocking glassware and it was so off putting. No smiles at all. Just really rude. Someone talk with her before she becomes a liability to the wonderful lodge and restaurant.

People were friendly. Property was clean. The rooms were terrible. No carpeting, concrete floors, no chairs to sit in, they had a bean bag chair. Nothing on the walls. Pegboard panel over the desk with a rack to hang clothes. It looked like it was recently renovated with new paint and fixtures. Looks like they ran out of money before finishing it!

Who ever gives this hotel 5 stars should not be reviewing. It’s not terrible it’s just lacking many amenities! People need to be real in their reviews! Chetola is a 9 and this property is a 9.6? Something is wrong. If Chetola is a 9 then this property is a 6. Looks like someone bought a warn out hotel and put lipstick on it!
