This hotel had many positive attributes. First of all the location was excellent. It was close to the main attractions, but also close to the train station. The room itself was of decent size. But I would say that it was booked as a “ triple room“. If that is a triple room, I would hate to see a single because it was still somewhat cramped. But it was aesthetic, The HVAC worked well, and the bathroom was nice. I would say the bed was quite hard, which was a major problem. But otherwise, the gym was meager, but it was spacious enough and had enough equipment to get in a good workout. I was happy with it. The breakfast on the other hand, was mid range to poor in quality. Several items, like sausages and bacon, tasted plastic like and stale. This was consistent over multiple days. But the coffee was OK and they had some other items that were okay. But the breakfast was quite a disappointment. Furthermore the main maître D of the breakfast room was not a particularly pleasant guy, and he was fairly rude on one occasion, which was a big turn off. Overall, this hotel was at least OK if not fairly pleasant. I would consider staying there again.
