Amazing home in Thomsdorf with WiFi

Quietly situated on the outskirts of Thomsdorf with a view of Lake Carwitz, this cosy holiday home for up to 4 people is located on the owners' spacious residential property next to their house (they are only occasionally on site). A beautiful bathing area and a jetty with rowing boat are just a few steps away from the property.The holiday home, which can be used all year round and was formerly a wheelwright's workshop, extends over two floors. The lower floor is characterised by the mighty old band saw from the wheelwright's days, around which the house was simply built. Today it is integrated as a dining table in the open-plan kitchen (cooker with oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, various small kitchen appliances) and the living room (upholstered furniture, wood-burning stove, underfloor heating, flat-screen TV, DVD player, radio). The large bedroom (double bed, single bed, guest bed for an extra bed) can be reached via an open staircase (with child safety lock at the top). The bathroom with shower, WC and hairdryer is on the ground floor, and there is also a large terrace with lake view, barbecue, car parking space, 3 bicycles and 1 rowing boat (usable from 15 April to 15 October) free of charge, storage facilities for your own bikes and paddle boats, a fire pit and facilities for playing football (large pitch goal) as well as Wi-Fi on request for a fee (1 EUR/day). The total price includes final cleaning, bed linen, water and energy. Please bring your own towels. To be paid on site: W-LAN, if desired. Pets are not allowed.



Thomsdorf is a tranquil village directly on Lake Carwitz in the centre of the Uckermark Lakes Nature Park, on the edge of the Feldberg lake district. The entire region is a refuge for both active holidaymakers and those seeking relaxation. The typical terminal moraine landscape with its gentle hills and crystal-clear lakes is ideal for swimming, canoeing, fishing, cycling or hiking, and the special magic of the landscape even fascinated the writer Hans Fallada, whose life and work can be learnt about in his former home in Carwitz, approx. 5 km away. In Thomsdorf there is an arts and crafts centre and an art cottage. Shopping facilities, restaurants and cafés can be found in the Kneipp spa resort of Feldberg, approx. 10 km away, and in the neighbouring village of Carwitz. Rustic brewery gastronomy can be enjoyed in Boitzenburg, 12 km away.
