The room carpet was stained. The chair in the room had so little cushon it felt like sitting on wood. There was debris on floor in room, over entire stay so i dont think they cleaned well. I have stayed here before, but won't again.

The rug was filthy: shine a black light on it and it would have been lit up like stars over Moab!! my dog kept sniffing everywhere, good thing she is well-trained. Others had clearly been peeing there! Even the shower wasn't clean, there was old soap stuck on the ledge. Yuck!! Also the check in clerk was incompetent, made mistake after mistake, and took too long.

Hotel needs work, but has a good staff & breakfast

The staff was good, the rooms were clean & comfortable enough. Breakfast was above average. The pool was fun & my son really enjoyed the pool balls and pool noodles. The place needs a lot of work. The pool lining was falling apart parts felt like you were walking on gravel. The bathroom in my room was moldy behind the door & the wall paper was peeling, probably because the bathroom fan didn't work, so the humidity just sat in there (room 425). The 1st room I was assigned was missing the mattress for the foldout couch & smelled like a dog (Room 132). But to the staff's credit they gave me a free upgrade to a better room.

We stayed in an handicapped accessible room for my husband. The bathroom had plenty of grab bars in it. It was not a walk in shower. It was a tub. Difficult for disabled persons to step over the tub side. Also the mat on the tub floor was very slick. It should have ridges. The exaust vent in the bathroom was covered in fuzz. The floor in the bathroom needed to be cleaned better. The caulking around the toilet needs replaced. The interior room needed updated furniture. The tv console was made of pressboard. The door that that housed the refridgerator apparently had been water damaged and the whole bottom of the door was swollen open and split and when you accessd the console door and opened it pressboard chips littered the floor. Also the facing on the console was damaged and missing. The carpet was stained everywhere. It needs to be replaced. We were there for medical visits to the hospital so La Quinta is very handy location. The staff was great, the kitchen was ok. The air conditioner did not stay on very long at 60 degrees. The window was not accessable. The outside of it was covered in plastic.

Sleepless in W. Boise. We were placed in room #146. It is right at the electronic key lock back entrance to the hotel. It makes a loud latch click..., klunk noise just before the door slams shut after being used. It woke me up at 2:30AM after all the bar flys called it a night and I spent the rest of the morning trying to get back to sleep. Just as I was about to dose off, Click, Klunk...., SLAM!!
