Historic Farmhouse -Modern Amenities -1800’s Charm

The farmhouse along with 43 acres, built in 1800s, was purchased in 2020 and a full year was spent renovating each and every room. The goal was to update the home in a modern farmhouse design while ensuring the historic integrity was preserved.

Throughout the renovation, no room was left untouched and many surprises were revealed along the way. Guests will be able to enjoy one such feature as they enter the farmhouse. Removing walls in the entry and living room revealed the original fireplace and it is now the focal point of this space. Additional features in the farmhouse include wide plank pine floors, shiplap walls and ceilings, beautiful light fixtures including vintage chandeliers, and antique barn beams integrated throughout.

The main floor boasts four living areas, two fireplaces, spacious dining area, bright and beautiful kitchen, large laundry room, bedroom with king-sized bed, and a wonderful bathroom with unique school-house sink.

The upstairs consists of a master suite with another king-sized bed, raised cathedral ceilings, vintage chandeliers, and century old beams salvaged from a friend’s barn. The installation of French double sliding barn doors in the master bath make a statement while providing needed privacy. A third bedroom with queen-size bed and farmhouse style bathroom featuring a clawfoot tub, round out the second floor.

The farmhouse also has beautiful outdoor areas to enjoy as well. The front porch has a variety of comfortable furniture to sit and relax while enjoying the sunset. The backyard features the original smoke house that has been repurposed as a potting shed, back patio with outdoor sofas/chairs, gas firepit, bed swing, AND a 75 inch tv to be enjoyed each evening.

A small flower farm is adjacent to the backyard and guests can request a bouquet bar consisting of a large assortment of fresh cut flowers to create beautiful arrangements! (seasonal)
