"The staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The setting was comfortable and relaxing (lots of stairs going up and down to the beach but can ask for a ride if that's a problem or enjoy the exercise!). Rooms were clean and cozy. We also enjoyed watching the monkeys, iguanas and birds!"

"They run a tight ship, everything is looked after with the utmost care and the communal breakfasts are very pleasant for folks who want to meet and converse with others whether traveling alone or with a companion. Views from the pool are spectacular (lots of lovely birds) and hosts were responsive when we messaged for info prior to arrival helped us arrange a tour in a matter of seconds. They were also incredibly considerate of our dietary needs and served a very hearty breakfast, encouraging us to eat well before our tour. Drinking water readily available at no extra cost. Air conditioning and hot water for showers were both great. If you like the idea of always present and attentive hosts watching over everything and anticipating every need and are willing to stay somewhere eco-friendly (which means reading and following rules) this is a fabulous option (excellent value!) We had a small rental car and that was all we needed to get up the hill to this property. We walked partway down the hill to dinner at the restaurant next door...one guest even did it (up and down) in crutches! "

"Owners of the hotel are everything ♥️ kind and lovely people. Fresh homemade and delicious food. In the hotel you can book and pay a reasonable price for visiting the 3 islands (Bolaños, Gámez and Parida). As you can see the hotel is on an island but this kind people pick you up from the dock to the hotel for free when arriving and leaving and also the morning you are going to the islands. Really recommend this place. "
